POLLUTION IN BOGOTA
INTRODUCTION
The serious air pollution in Bogotá poisons all its inhabitants and is an Environmental Emergency neglected by the authorities. The problem has reached such a level that it is more and more frequent to see people suffering from fainting, especially in the Transmilenio area, and they have even died inside dangerously.

Bogota is one of the most polluted cities in the world.
Pollution comes mainly from diesel fuel, natural gas, both in buses and in household uses, from rubber released from articulated vehicles, from industrial pollution produced by obtaining energy through toxic burning boilers, and from the destruction of forests, wetlands and indiscriminate felling of trees, these last three to replace the green by cement and synthetic grass
In times of unrest, there are focal points of dangerous tear gas contamination that disperse at low altitudes in the wind direction. Its continuous exposure can cause cancer.
All the inhabitants of Bogota breathe polluted, poisonous and carcinogenic air regardless of the stratum, be it in the Santa Fe Foundation, Santa Ana Oriental, the Modern Gymnasium,
the High Performance Center, the industrial zone, etc. because of the buses, mostly Volvo, Transmilenio / SITP, chimney trucks and all kinds of vehicles emitting visible fumes, as well as factories burning products that emit poisonous particles and gases, and naturally because of the indolent authorities that issue false reports speaking of "normality" and that arbitrarily change accepted standards. They establish absurd measures like the gas certificate, as useful as a "breathalyzer certificate".
Lessons Learned
1=Do not use massive means of transportation powered by non-gas
2=Build underground Meters, as they save space to be used by trees and green areas, especially in large spaces.
Segment cities by spacing them with large green areas.
Build trams.
3=Build commuter trains.
4=Encourage the use of electric transport
